This policy covers the website www.mindoo-vega.com. It does not describe the Vega application itself — the content you create there is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by us.

What this website collects

This is a static marketing website. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers, and we do not ask you for personal data anywhere on it.

Server log data

The website is delivered by Cloudflare. As with any web server, technical access data — IP address, time of request, requested file, referrer, browser and operating system — is processed to deliver the page and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Cookies and local storage

We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Two purely functional values are stored: a cookie named vega_lang remembering the site language you chose, and a theme entry in your browser's local storage remembering whether you prefer light or dark mode. Both stay on your device, are not sent anywhere for analysis, and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings.

Hosting

Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. as our processor. A data processing agreement is in place. Content may be delivered from an edge location in your region to shorten the transfer path.

Links to haven.mindoodb.com, mindoodb.com, mindoo.de and GitHub lead to separate services with their own privacy policies. We only pass on the fact that you followed a link, which is the referrer your browser transmits.

Your content in Vega

Anything you create inside Vega is encrypted on your device before it is stored. The keys stay on your devices, so we — as the operator of MindooDB Cloud — cannot read your mind maps, notes, or attachments. You decide who may decrypt a map when you create it.

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please use the contact details above.
